About Me

Jill Chodorov is consistently a top producing agent with Long & Foster Real Estate and works with both buyers and sellers. She has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry in the Greater Washington DC area – she first started as a real estate investor and later became a licensed agent so she could share her first-hand knowledge with her clients. Ms. Chodorov adheres to high standards of ethics, professionalism and loyalty to her clients.

Ms. Chodorov was nominated in 2011 by the County Executive to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Montgomery County Department of Permitting Services, in which she provided counsel on issues pertaining to permitting for new construction, renovations, and land use in the County.  Currently, she is a contributing writer to The Washington Post newspaper covering real estate topics.  Read Jill’s articles under the articles tab above.

Prior to joining Long & Foster, Ms. Chodorov lived in Saigon, Vietnam to open and manage a Sotheby’s International Realty office with offices in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.  She is a former Peace Corps volunteer and a former Presidential speechwriter in the White House.   She studied International Business at American University and read the Great Books at St. John’s College in Annapolis.
